With Seattle, the delegation, which comprised 20 participants, visited one of the world's top clusters for the aerospace industry. As the headquarters of Amazon as well as the home of numerous other high-tech IT and digital companies and promising start-ups, Seattle also proved to be an extremely attractive location for this economic and technological sector. During the trip, many points of connection, particularly to Thuringia's strengths, also emerged in the areas of quantum technology, artificial intelligence, as well as life sciences and biotechnology. With outstanding speakers, the investor seminar with 40 participants was able to present the business location of Thuringia in the best possible way. The same applies to Vancouver, which can also play its trump cards in information and communication technology. Furthermore, the Canadian metropolis impresses with its innovative focus on the topics of sustainability and renewable energies, as it is among the top ten cleantech clusters worldwide.
