The Free State of Thuringia has summarized its planned support for companies during the crisis in a "three-pillar program." "At its core, it's a three-pronged approach consisting of grants, loans, and the support of investments for decarbonization, increased efficiency, and reduced energy consumption," announced Economics Minister Tiefensee.
The Thuringian Livelihood Security Program (ThürExSi) offers financial support from state funds in the form of discretionary payments for small and medium-sized enterprises in the commercial sector that are affected by the energy crisis to an extent that threatens their existence.
Securing liquidityThe guarantee guidelines and the consolidation fund have been expanded and strengthened. Now, a further option is being created in the form of loans with a favorable interest rate and a two-year grace period for repayments.
Funding programs to improve companies' future investment capacityIn addition to the digitalization bonus, there is now a decarbonization bonus to support investments in energy efficiency, energy saving, and the decarbonization of business processes, products, and services with minimal bureaucracy. Furthermore, the Thuringia Invest program is being replaced by the InnoInvest program. (maa)
