The Thuringian business trip to Mexico will take place from February 21 to 28, 2027, and will take participants to Mexico City and Monterrey. Mexico City, the country's capital, is one of Mexico's most important economic and innovation centers. Thanks to an established German network with institutions such as the German Centre, the German Embassy, several German schools, and the Goethe-Institut, the metropolis offers excellent conditions for initiating and deepening business relationships. Monterrey is the focus of the trip as Mexico's leading industrial and economic center. Due to its strong industrial base and its strategic integration into North American value chains and supply chains, the city plays a central role in the country's economic development. Company visits, specialist workshops, business meetings, round tables, and networking events are planned. In addition, the delegation participants will take part in Expo Manufactura 2027 as well as the Wire & Cable Fair. The focus of the trip is on the manufacturing industry and everything that contributes to its further development.
