The country offers numerous business opportunities for German companies. The EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) facilitates trade between the two regions. Its strategic location in Southeast Asia also provides access to other ASEAN markets with over 660 million inhabitants.
Furthermore, cooperation with Vietnam offers enormous potential for Thuringia, not only in recruiting skilled workers but also in the area of vocational training. Through targeted programs to recruit trainees from Vietnam, companies can secure their future workforce for a wide range of professions. This contributes to promoting dual vocational training and reducing the shortage of skilled workers in the long term.
Vietnam Day 2025 – find out about cooperation opportunities!
Vietnam Day 2025 will focus on these topics. The event will address questions related to market development and business establishment in Vietnam, as well as attracting trainees and skilled workers to Thuringia. Joint projects between Thuringia and Vietnam will also be highlighted, and an exchange of experiences with companies, policymakers, and key stakeholders will be facilitated. The day will conclude with a networking evening featuring a cultural program in a relaxed summer atmosphere. Further information can be found in the program. We look forward to your participation!
