In this spirit, we cordially invite you to participate in our online event on December 3rd. Together with Dietmar Sukop, the EU's foreign affairs officer for Brazil, and Carl Moses, journalist and specialist on the Mercosur region, we will hold a festive online fireside chat and take a current look at the EU-Mercosur free trade agreement. Against the backdrop of global geopolitical tensions, the countries of Latin America, and in particular the Mercosur states, are increasingly coming into focus. These dynamic and diverse markets offer great potential and numerous opportunities for cooperation.
With the signing of the EU-Mercosur agreement in December 2024, as well as possible bilateral agreements such as the double taxation agreement, crucial steps were taken, both for the region and for economic relations with Thuringia and Germany.
