When we talk about relations between Europe and China, terms like “overcapacities”, “competition” and “punitive tariffs” are almost part of the standard vocabulary. But what exactly is behind them? Why do overcapacities keep emerging in China? In which industries should we expect competition from China in the future? How innovative are Chinese companies really? How can you as an entrepreneur strategically prepare for this and deal with it appropriately? We want to discuss these questions together with Dr. Julia Haes, founder and managing director of the China Institute for the German Economy (CIDW). Afterwards, we will welcome the Chinese Year of the Snake together.
