Geopolitics meets Thuringian foreign trade 2024

As with the two previous New Year's celebrations, we are looking forward to an exchange this winter with geopolitics expert Ralf Schuster – this time, for the first time, not virtually, but in person. He will contextualize current geopolitical developments, offer a forecast, and provide impetus for concrete business strategy considerations.About the contentAs in economics, understanding the interests of the other side is crucial in geopolitics. Following the principle of "know your friends," the different motivations and reactions of the key geopolitical players are outlined. About the speaker: Ralf Schuster Ralf Schuster is a geopolitical expert at Helaba and a geopolitical advisor to the GHA – German Health Alliance, an initiative of the Federation of German Industries (BDI). He is also a long-standing member of the board of the Ghorfa – Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry – and a member of the International Club at the Federal Foreign Office. A sought-after expert for lectures and seminars at financial institutions, companies, associations, and in the political arena, Ralf Schuster's audience now extends far beyond Europe. He moderated the panel discussions at the last two Thuringian Foreign Trade Days. Furthermore, he has given several presentations on geopolitical topics for LEG.
