Tasks & Job Requirements

Your tasks:

Identification, active approach and comprehensive support of investors in the security and defense industry as well as electronics and semiconductors
Development and implementation of industry-specific acquisition and outreach strategies or concepts
Development of individual site offers and proposals for companies, as well as independent planning and implementation of measures for successful establishment in Thuringia
Marketing Thuringia as a business and technology location both domestically and internationally through presentations and active networking

Analysis of market, industry and regional data to identify potentials and trends
Systematic Contact management to identify potential investors through industry, cluster, research and networking activities
Investment relocation service throughout the entire investment process, including follow-up investor support
Project management and controlling within the framework of investor support as well as coordination of relevant stakeholders in the settlement process

Your profile:

Successfully completed studies in economics, industrial engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
Solid knowledge of the security and defense industry; experience in the German Armed Forces is desirable
Good knowledge of the electronics and/or semiconductor industry, especially regarding value chains, relevant technologies and key market players
Prior experience in economic development, investor relations or business development is advantageous
extensive project management experience
very good English skills, both spoken and written (fluent in negotiations)
Proficient use of common MS Office programs
Car driving licence
