Social responsibility lived

As a company, we are part of society. Therefore, it is important to us to contribute to solving social issues beyond our business activities. We initiate and support a number of projects that serve the common good. We are proud of the strong willingness among our employees to get involved in social causes, whether through donations of goods and money or through practical assistance.

LEG Summer School

Thuringian holiday leisure

The "LEG Summer School" offers childcare during the Thuringian school holidays with a diverse recreational program. Parents and children can choose between on-site care and a stay at a holiday camp, and flexibly combine both options. The program is run by the association "LEG Summer School: Companies Committed to Families e. V."

Goals of the LEG Summer School

  • Improving the compatibility of work and family life
  • Meaningful leisure activities for children between 6 and 14 years old
  • Combining games and experiential learning

Movement Challenge

For three charitable initiatives and their beneficiaries

We combine fitness and fun for our employees with social responsibility. In our exercise challenge, we "earned" money for every kilometer run. Three Thuringian initiatives - The Colorful Sheep Association., the Erfurt Soul Stones Association. and the Streetworker Erfurt They are delighted with the donations. They help to improve the snack options for schoolchildren in Thuringia, to enable children of mentally ill parents to go on exciting excursions, and to provide emergency accommodation for teenagers and young adults.

Bummi department store

For families in need

It has become a cherished tradition for us to support the Bummi department store with donations of goods from our staff during the Christmas season. Boxes full of toys, clothing, books, and much more go to the social department store run by the AWO (Workers' Welfare Association) in Erfurt.

Here, low-income parents can shop for their little ones. For many, this is the only way to surprise their loved ones with a nice gift under the Christmas tree.

Wishing tree

For a hardworking Santa Claus

To ensure that children from low-income families can also have their Christmas wishes fulfilled, we participate in the Erfurt Family Club's Wishing Tree campaign. Thirty slips of paper with heartfelt wishes await visitors on our Christmas tree in the foyer during Advent, and these wishes are regularly granted. In this way, the commitment and generosity of our employees bring joy to children's eyes at Christmastime.
