ERFURT – Hydrogen-powered buses, electric cargo bikes, automated truck fleets, and driverless "people movers": The IAA Transportation 2022 international motor show in Hanover, from Tuesday, September 20 to Sunday, September 25, offers innovative and often surprising solutions for the mobility of the future. As in previous years, the Free State of Thuringia will be present with a joint stand (Hall 13, Stand E41): Five Thuringian exhibitors will present their potential to visitors on this platform. The stand is once again being organized by LEG Thüringen on behalf of the Thuringian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Science and Digital Society (TMWWDG).
As the economic development agency of the Free State of Thuringia, LEG organizes various joint stands for Thuringian companies throughout the year. "With the IAA, we are kicking off an eventful 'trade fair autumn' that offers our Thuringian companies diverse opportunities to present themselves both domestically and internationally," says LEG Managing Director Andreas Krey. "The IAA gives our exhibitors the chance to establish and expand personal Contact with customers, strengthen relationships with cooperation partners, and identify current industry trends. This year, which has once again enabled more in-person trade fairs, has made it even clearer how important these events are for businesses!"
The exhibitors at the Thuringian joint stand are:
- a2-solar Advanced Automotive Solar Systems GmbH (Erfurt)
- automotive thüringen e. V. (Erfurt)
- Eichsfelder Schraubenwerk GmbH (Heilbad Heiligenstadt),
- Sedlmayer GmbH (Triptis),
- the TITK – Thuringian Institute for Textile and Plastics Research e. V. (Rudolstadt)
The booth invites visitors to engage in conversation and explore the exhibits; on Wednesday, September 21, starting at 6 p.m., the "Thuringia Date" event will take place, offering numerous opportunities for networking and Contact . Following the successful launch of IAA Mobility in Munich last year with a new, contemporary concept, this year it's IAA Transportation's turn in Hanover. IAA Mobility alternates between presenting products, services, and innovations in the passenger vehicle sector and focusing on commercial vehicles. Both trade fairs are leading events for the automotive industry. Thuringia has been represented with joint booths at both events since 2015.
