The representative office is organized through a consulting firm. The goal is to attract US investors to the Free State of Thuringia and simultaneously support Thuringian companies in entering the US market – from market analyses and partner searches to certification and soft-landing solutions.
With over 10% of export volume, the USA is Thuringia's most important market. The choice of location stems from a delegation trip by Minister-President Mario Voigt and Minister of Economic Affairs Colette Boos-John in May 2025. With the new office, Thuringia is strengthening its presence in a key region and sending a clear signal for growth and internationalization.
