Nature camp in Frauenwald on the Rennsteig trail offers sustainable tourism

Last October, investor Claudia Weidner was finally able to get her Naturcamp project in Frauenwald am Lenkgrund off the ground: After a lengthy planning and approval phase, the groundbreaking ceremony took place in the presence of Minister Tiefensee. An attractive new tourist destination will be built on the site of the former open-air swimming pool in the Allzunah district, designed to draw more visitors to the Thuringian Forest and thus benefit the region. Reflecting the trend towards mindfulness in connection with nature, this retreat offers relaxation, profound nature experiences, and adventure. A diverse program is planned, ranging from nature-oriented overnight stays in cozy cabins and tents to exciting outdoor activities such as wilderness hikes, campfire evenings, and nature workshops. Regional organic cuisine, relaxation through outdoor yoga, and survival courses will also demonstrate how to live in harmony with nature. (maa)
