LEG aims to further improve the rollout of its services throughout Thuringia by creating a central "Municipal Service Center." Established services will remain in place, including the land and business database and its integration into municipal websites, contributions to land-use statistics, and the provision of aerial photographs. Economic development agencies can continue to learn about LEG through internship programs, and conversely, on-site visits by LEG will continue. The focus remains firmly on productive collaboration, targeted support, and effective networking.
What's new is the centralized coordination of this service package, which shortens the path to the right contact person within LEG. The integration of the service center into the existing "Invest in Thuringia" website also contributes to this. Anna Elisabeth Rinke, who was previously the contact person for commercial and industrial sites, will be the new face of the service center.
In addition, the annual "Working Group of Municipal Economic Development Agencies" (AGKW) is being expanded. Increased interaction and conceptual adjustments will give the networking event a fresh look. This will allow LEG to improve its services for municipal economic development agencies and simultaneously position itself even more closely attuned to economic issues in the Free State of Bavaria. Further details about the changes will be announced shortly. (jp)
