Since the project's launch in March 2025, the app has already achieved considerable success: At the pilot company N3 Engine Overhaul Services, over 20% of the workforce has registered – more than 670 carpools have already been organized. The advantages are obvious: less traffic, lower CO₂ emissions, reduced parking shortages, and stronger social networking – also for international employees.
The service is particularly attractive for shift workers who often travel outside of typical public transport hours. Other companies, such as XXXLutz, DB Schenker, and Marquardt Lightronics, are already poised to participate. The Ilm district is contributing €240,000 from state climate protection funds to the project. The Erfurter Kreuz initiative is also providing an additional €10,000 annually – a strong signal for modern, climate-friendly mobility in the region.
