Start-ups and small businesses have access to premises and shared services in the bauhaus FACTORY. The center offers a first-class and flexible infrastructure with a total usable area of approx. 1,200 m² on 4 floors and up to 8 independent rental units.

The seminar and conference rooms with a total of approx. 135 m² are equipped with modern presentation technology (projector) as well as a lectern, conference tables, chairs and other furnishings (sideboards, coat rack).

A separate kitchen and catering area is attached.

Location

The center is located close to the university and city center. It is in immediate proximity to the Faculties of Media and Architecture of the Bauhaus University Weimar. The building complex is framed by the research building digital bauhaus lab and two experimental buildings of the Faculty of Architecture.

Since the beginning of 2014, the "bauhaus FACTORY" Weimar has been a point of attraction and contact for start-ups, as well as for small creative industry companies already present on the market.

With the Bauhaus founded in Weimar in 1919, Thuringia is one of the pioneers of the creative economy. The Free State of Thuringia, especially with the city of Weimar and the surrounding Weimarer Land region, as well as the neighboring cities of Erfurt and Jena, holds high creative and entrepreneurial potential.
