Description

The former military area has developed into an attractive commercial area on the northeastern outskirts of Altenburg following the implementation of consistent conversion measures. East of Leipziger Straße (B7, B180) are the directly adjacent partial development plan areas I and II, where approximately 0.557 hectares of commercial area and approximately 1.15 hectares of industrial area are offered fully developed. Separated by the federal highway B7 / B180, the partial development plan area III is located opposite, which provides an additional 5.428 hectares of fully developed commercial area in two large building windows.

Since December 2013, the S-Bahn connection between the city of Altenburg and the city of Leipzig, the Leipzig Trade Fair and Leipzig/Halle Airport has been completed.
