Description

Following the implementation of consistent conversion measures, an attractive business park has developed on the northeastern edge of Altenburg from what was formerly a military site. East of Leipziger Straße (B7, B180) are the directly adjacent development plan areas I and II, offering approximately 0.557 hectares of fully serviced commercial land and approximately 1.15 hectares of fully serviced industrial land. Separated by the B7/B180 federal highway, development plan area III is located opposite, providing an additional 5.428 hectares of fully serviced commercial land in two large building zones.

Since December 2013, the S-Bahn (suburban train) line between the city of Altenburg and the city of Leipzig, the Leipzig Trade Fair, and Leipzig/Halle Airport has been in operation.
