Description

Position
The North Thuringian Air Transport and Business Center is located in the heart of Germany, between the towns of Nordhausen and Mühlhausen, approximately 2.5 km northwest of Schlotheim. The adjacent state road L2096 and federal highway B249 connect the area to the A38 motorway to the north and the A4 motorway to the south. The A38 motorway (South Harz section, running from Göttingen to Halle/Leipzig) is only about 20 km away. The A4 motorway (Frankfurt/Main - Dresden) is approximately 44 km away.
The adjacent airfield, with approximately 76 hectares of airspace, is the largest in northern Thuringia. Erfurt International Airport is about 50 kilometers away.
